Question: Not Priming

After descaling my ESAM 3500, I received an error message that ground was to fine, and to change the grind, and hit the ok button - after numerous attempts, I called Delonghi. Their recommendation was to fill the cappuccino tank with water, and to then press the clean button - after doing this a number of times, the machine still would not prime - the Delonghi solution was to send it in for repair. A friend of mine, has the same machine, and this also happened to him - if anyone has a"fix" it would be geatly appreciated

The reason why you are getting this error is that its not detecting water flow. More often then not its because there is a clog some place. Most often the clog is right where the heating element and the tubing connect or even inside the heating element. Check that first and if you cant find the clog then take it into a service center.

My coffee machine is losing suction from the milk container. It's either not producing any milk/froth or very little. This just started happening and I'm curious as to the cause.
