Removed 4 screws holding cover on, swapped out the broken switch with the new one. Put cap back on & secured screws.

2. Installed new speed control lever.
3. Reinstalled end cap.

Tab on spped control lever broke resulting in loss of speed adjustment.

pulled out broken lever
replaced with new lever. (received 3 days after order place).
Make sure speed control arm is inside notch on lever.

Control lever broke when router was incorrectly positioned in router lift.

1. Removed 4 Torx screws from switch cover plate.
2. Lifted out broken control lever.
3. Aligned and Installed new control lever.
4. Installed 4 Torx screws on switch cover plate.
5. Checked switch operation that there was no binding.

Damaged cord, cracked top and broken speed control switch.

Lifted top cover away
Lifted switch and cord retaining strap away
Unplugged cord from switch
Removed two screws from cord retaining straps
Moved components to new cord
Plugged cord into back of switch
Pushed new cord assembly back in place
Swapped out plastic speed control lever
Reassembled

Speed control lever broken

Nutdriver, Torx bit for nut driver

Removed 4 top cover screws. Removed top cover. Removed speed control lever. Installed new lever by aligning fork in lever with the small switch knob on speed control circuit board. Reinstall top cover and screws.
