This is a genuine manufacturer authorized replacement part that is designed for use with Echo handheld lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas into a highly combustible mixture that is then sent into the engine. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb. Over time the carburetor on your small engine can become defective, causing sluggish performance and poor fuel economy. When replacing carburetor it is advised that you also replace carburetor gaskets to ensure proper air tight seal for optimum performance.
