This carburetor gasket is an authentic Craftsman replacement part and is compatible with trimmers. The carburetor gasket creates an airtight seal between the carburetor and the engine block, to ensure that the carburetor is free of dirt and debris. This is a common wear item, so we do recommend ordering a spare. For installation, you will need a screwdriver to remove any covers or shrouds and a pair of needle nose pliers to aid you.
