The motor on my compressor spins freely by hand but when I plug it, it trips the breaker. Where should I start to diagnose the problem?

Thank you for your question. If the air compressor is tripping the breaker, inspect the unloader valve and the pump. Also check for any obstructions that may prevent the mechanical parts from working correctly. We hope this helps!
