Place front end on jack. Remove mower belt cover, disconnect and lower blade assembly, remove steering wheel, remove lower steering assembly cover, remove foot rest cover and foot rest assembly.

Route new brake cable assembly. Remove old belt and replace with new belt. To make enough room to remove and route the new belt under the engine you need to press and hold down the brake release lever at the rear of the mower.

Reassemble all the components that you removed.
