This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement burner assembly that is specially designed for Weber grills. This is the part that the flames rise from. This burner assembly is made from durable stainless steel and it includes one burner tube, an ignitor with lead wires and the hardware to secure this assembly. Please note you will need a screwdriver to complete this repair.

Had to spend around one 1/2 hour to take off the old stews because of the rust but after, it was easy to assemble.

Burner would not ignite gas

1. Took off grill table and removed old parts of burner assembly.
2. Inserted new burner assembly.
3. Since supplied wires were too short had to splice part of old wires to new wires.
4. Connected assembly and tested.
5. Reattached grill table.

Igniter quit working and burner was burned away after 15 years of use

It was very easy with the instructions that came with the burner assembly. A retainer ring using pliers was removed to remove the burner assembly and after inserting the new one putting the retainer ring back on it was good as new.

The burner was rusted so the gas did not flow freely to the charcoal, hence slow fuel ignition.

The hard part was removing the old burner assembly. The nuts were completely rusted and, for me, impossible to remove in the normal way. I ended up sawing the bolts in half with a hack saw. Installing the new part was extremely easy.

The grates were simple to install the small one on the bottom and the large one on the top. Then to install the Burner assembly. I followed the instructions that were included with the new burner.
