Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, antisieze, gasket sealant, grease.
Troubleshooting the most important first step. Get your parts list together and double check you have correct part numbers for your exact piece of equipment. Follow all maintenance manuals or get online for repair videos. Take pictures before during and after of disassembly. Especially parts like the carburetor mounting. Once The gaskets and spacers only go one direction and the manuals don't always show which. Once And if you have had it worked on before don't be surprised to find things installed wrong. Once you receive parts double check that they are exactly what you need before assembly. Make sure they fit.
I ordered a new pump that fit and was correct BUT the mounting feet where the bolts go were approximately 3/8 in thicker than the original. So I had to get longer bolts. Not a big deal just a little more time spent.
I ordered wheel bushings and new wheels but the new wheels don't require the bushings
