Question: Modification Set

koondog

Does this set modify the drill for a different type battery?

Hello koondog,

The modification set is basically a new drill without a new chuck, battery and charger.
So you will use your original batteries and charger.

Hope this helps,

greetings,

so happy to find this forum!

my trusty bosch 3310 (0-601-936-539) driver has given up on me at the worse possible moment, and i would like to do what i can to revive it.

in the last few days the on/off, or power switch, has been acting up. essentially, it has sometimes stalled before the power kicks in, or it takes a while for the motor to start up. as of yesterday, it has not worked at all. i am hoping it is the switch and that i can replace it.

can anyone help me systematically diagnose the problem, so that i don't end up ordering irrelevant parts?

the motor is strong and fine when it kicks in, which is what makes me think it is the switch, but really, i don't know.

any help is very much appreciated.

thank you!

adp

Hey adp,
Chances are it is the switch..[you can bypass the switch and go directly to the motor with test leads from the battery to troubleshoot..if the motor runs fine..its the switch..:)
hope this is helpful..

Review: Bosch - 3310 The Old Man

I have used this drill for years now and it just keeps right on working. The battery went out last week, I found a way to recharge a dead battery, now it works like a new battery. The drill works as good as the first day it was purchased. The old man
