Question: How To Remove Hammer Pipe (#35) ...
I'm about at witt's end on this. I've been trying to figure out how to get the hammer pipe out for about 2 hours now. I have everything in the front end off down to #142. The last 2 parts I removed were #154 (retaining ring) and #97 (Locking washer).
Any ideas how to get #821 off? (including 142 and 167). My first guess was that it screws off, but I took it CC for 1/2 turn and that didn't seem to make any progress.
The part after that is #160 (Dampning Ring) and judging from the slots on top, I'm thinking that this part does screw off.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
...one of the few times I've been totally stumped on a repair. :(
Your best bet is to call Bosch at 1-877-267-2499 and talk to tech support. They should be able to email you what you need. Hope that helps.good luck.
you have 3 terminals that the green, black & white attach to and the white goes in the center terminal.
