Question: 11232evs Hammer Drill

I have a Makita hammer drill 11232evs. When I pull the trigger, it hums for a few seconds then runs ok. It's free to turn and not binding; could this be the armature or maybe the governor causing the problem? The switch seems to be ok, checking it with an ohm meter.

My Bosch 11232EVS runs fine but it will not hammer. I've started dis-assembly but hit a road block. I believe the the striker has freed itself inside the guide tube. Can someone guide me through the process of accessing the striker?

I replaced the hammer piston in my 11232evs also replaced some of the o-rings since then the machine does not seem to have that destructive power as before if I try to chisel or drill at the highest (6) speed it does not work although the motor runs. I have to start at the lowest then increase to the highest then it will work. Did I do something wrong in the assembly or is there another problem?---HELP---

I have a 11232EVS Bosch Rotary Hammer Drill. On our drawing it talks about 'marking lines' on the gears and the armature. What does that mean and what are they for.
