Question: Bad Switch?

Somebody put 220 volts on the drill and returned to me inoperative. I suspect that the rectifier in the switch blew "sky high" and is not providing voltage to the motor. I sure would appreciate a photo of the specific wires as they enter the housing of the motor as when I took the handle off, a white wire with a brass connector was dangling loose...

My 10 yr old Drill #11212VSR has always seeped oil around the drill bit shank. I assumed it lubed the shank. How do I replenish the oil and what type of oil do I use?

Hey TXS,
This one is kinda of a pain in the * [neck?]..Remove the handle halves..[you may also have to unhook a wire or two] The brush holders have little plates that hold them in with screws..remove those..pull out the holders with the brush's[carefully]..replace and reassemble..be careful not to bend or damage the holders or the brush's wont move freely..ugh:o
it might be a good idea to replace the holders also..just in case...
