Product Description ?

Authentic Manufacturer Sourced replacement part used on Ryobi Table Saws. This item allows you to adjust the Height on your Table Saw. This Assembly includes a Metal Wheel, Plastic Handle and a Metal Screw.

Replacing this part is easy and will only require an Allen Wrench/Hex Key.

• First you would need to remove the old Blade Adjustment Handle using an Allen wrench.
• Note - Do NOT loose the spring behind the Screw.
• Install new handle using the Screw and an Allen Wrench

Remove the broken handle, by removing the screw in the middle. Watch for the spring behind the handle, don't lose it. Replace the spring , handle and thread in the screw.

Could not adjust blade height or angle. Plastic had worn down and was slipping.

I removed the old allen-head screw and saved the spring.
Installed the spring on the new handle and used the new allen-head screw (supplied).
Started cutting wood!

Remove screw from the middle of the handle, when you remove the handle look for the spring right behind it. Instal the spring back in place and screw handle back on.

I ended up finding a small corner aluminum piece that would protect the blade lowering mechanism was bent, which had caused the handle to break teeth and not work. Once I took out that bent piece it works well now. The other side probably had a protecting piece of aluminum as well but that was already missing.

Drive belts broken

Screwdriver, Wrench Set, heat gun, bearing press, hot water

Disassembled table saw housing and motor/blade arbor assembly.
Cleaned burned rubber elements from motor and arbor spools.
Struggled for 2 days with cheap aftermarket belts drive belts.
Gave up and threw cheap aftermarket drive belts in the trash.
Ordered OEM belts from e-replacement parts.
Called Ryobi tech support for tips.
Heated drive and driven spools with heat gun.
Heated drive belts in 150 degree hot water.
Worked the belts over the spools into place, twisting/pushing the belt while turning.
Reassembled the saw.
Scolded the helpful neighbor for buying the cheap useless aftermarket belts.

Lost wrenches could not remove saw blade. Elevation handle was stripped.

So as not to lose wrenches again I drilled a hole in saw body and screwed in a large cup hook to hold the two wrenches. Removed the old elevation wheel and installed the new one.
