Hello emilyrob,

I know that the BA-075 Grass Bag has been discontinued for quite a while now. Your best bet is to keep searching on line, hopefully some will have one out there.

Good luck,

Question: Hardware Bag

tanis61

what is it used for and does it work?
WJA
Reply: Hardware Bag

WJA

Hello tanis61,

Most hardware bags that I am familiar with, contain the nuts, bolts, washers etc to put the machine together. If you have a lot of those kind of parts missing. That would be the way to go.

Question: Push Ring Removal

walter99

How do you remove a push ring to replace a wheel or flap guard on a Black and Decker Cordless Electric mower.

Thanks

Hi walter99,
Really they should be used only once and replaced with a new one.I just grab it with a pair of channel locks and twist it off.If you want to use the old one you can sometimes rock them back and forth while pulling and this will often get them off.Hope that helps.Good luck.

how to replace the flap?

I am in the same situation. It appears the flap slides only in one way, but the wheel with the lever is in the way. So far, I has been unable to remove the wheel, which appears is the actual problem because of the unusual nut/washer combination.

Question: Internal Electrical Problem

My mower was smoking white smoke and stopped. The contact had melted the assembly that housed it. I've replaced the contacts and accessories and rewired everything but it doesn't start at all. The switch works fine as far as I can tell.

Question: Help Putting Back The Handle

albapena

I bought a new handle and switch case, took apart the wiring with the rectifier and now can't put it back. I forgot how everything goes. mm275. Do you have a picture or diagram on how all of this goes back together? Thx.

Question: Rectifier

jimboarman

Can someone give me the correct location of the four wires for MM275
Tinkerdave
Reply: Rectifier

Tinkerdave

Hi jimboarman,
Looking at the rectifier you should have + on the right. That connects to the red motor wire.Black - on the left connects to to the red and black wire.Yellow AC on the top goes to black wire and ac yellow on bottom goes to the orange wire.Hope that helps.Good luck.

Question: Spring Mechanism

Bought the spring door, but cannot figure out how to get spring to be effective. Door just flops as spring is not active. Slide pin in, but it does not "grasp" spring to get it "loaded".

Question: Electrical Short

when I plug in my mm275, it shorts out the electricity to parts of the house. It doesn't do anything except short out electricity, causing me to have to reset the main circuit. why?

Question: Runs A Few Turns Then Stops

I turn the machine on and after a few revolutions it seems to jam shut. When moving the blade physically it runs again and then stops cold again. Any suggestions?

I had the problem of the motor jamming. I opened up the mower, unscrewed the motor, loosed the cord mounting, unscrewed the top of the motor and inspected the magnet ring. It was shattered. I am ordering a new one now.

Question: On Off Switch

When I squeeze the lever to run my machine it starts and stops intermittently. The switch is worn. What part do I order?

My model MM275 has an intermittant working on & off switch. If I squeeze the handle hard and pull it to the right it works. Otherwise, it continues to work on & off. What parts do I need. Also, what will help the cord to stay plugged in. It has a tendancy to fall off as the coed hangs down from the plug.

Question: MM275 Stopped Working

John

I have a B&D MM275 that stopped working. I'm afraid that's the only symptom. It was as if I unplugged it, but the power cord to the mower works fine. It just stopped.

Any suggestions about what might be the problem?

Reply: MM275 Stopped Working

It sounds like the button on your switch is worn and what happens, your handle no longer hits the button, causing the mower to quit running. After you pull the handle up, hit the switch with your hand. This will cause the handle to move slightly and will most likely start the mower. It will not stay running. I say this as I had the same problem and bought a new switch. My mower now runs fine.

There is a part called a "rectifier" at the very top of the lawn mower inside the case that holds 4 little wires, some black and some red. We've had to replace that part (about $3.00 apiece) a few times. The lawnmower ran fine after we did that. Hope it works for you. Check the parts "blow-up" above for added location information.

I have a B&D mm275, the push button switch melted, I have a new one but am not sure of wiring.
It is 4 prong, red, from motor, black from motor, white from motor, black from inlet plug. All were melted off.
Thanks Al
