My blower has lost blowing power and is noticeably sparking inside the housing. How can I repair?

Good Blower, a friend has one we used it for several years, worked great, but after a while it started sparking from the motor, brushes became worn and brush springs got hot and lost their strength, looked here and no replacement for the brushes, looked at just main body replacement and see that it cost 100$, WHY, when the whole unit is 40$ ? hmmm...

I purchased this blower, used it for 5 minutes and it died. I returned it to Menard's, received a replacement, turned it on and sparks were flying and fire was coming out of the motor. I'll be returning it again in the morning and getting my money back. I will NOT be getting another Black and Decker.
