discontinued everywhere, is there no other part that will replace this? it would seem that any attachment that would fit a tire would work??

Hello davesmisc,

The following part is not the original part the manufacture used on this unit. But I am pretty sure you can adapt it. It is part number 5140043-67.

Hope this helps,

I need a new switch (item 6 on diagram) but it isn't listed. Is it available or will I have to buy a whole new unit??
One of the comments below noted that an air hose assembly for a 9527 Black & Decker Air Station was found. How did the person access the company that had the assembly? Any directions would be most helpful to obtain this.

Hello mjackim,

The part number 5140043-67 air hose. Is used on some other models that Black and Decker has offered. It can be used on the 9527 Air Station, but you will have to come up with a clamp to attach it to the pump.

Question: B & D Air Station

kjh

It is interesting, looking at the following comments that the obvious weak link in the B & D air station is the inflator tip.
With so many requests you would think it would be available.
I, also, was able to get it from Dewalt (Hmmm?!)

I NEED PART 45, DO U HAVE ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN OR HOW I CAN GET IT.

I developed a very good solution for part # 45 not being available anymore. I went to my local hardware store, bought a 3/16x1/4 brass bib and a small hose clamp. A $4.20 solution that prevents having to buy a new pump.
I need replacement part 45. It's not in this list. Any idea how I can obtain this small part?

Hello treed,

Try searching "air hose with tire chuck" you might be able to adapt one of the styles that the search comes up with.

Good luck.

Unfortunately manufactures will only provide replacement parts for so long after a model is discontinued. Your bet bet to find a discontinued part is to try the local repair shops in your area. Sometimes they will have one on their shelves or even have a broken unit that they can steal a part from.

Good luck!

I called DeWalt Factory Service out of Des Moines, IA at 515-270-1340; and I was able to find a substitute replacement for #46 Short Hose, No End Piece Part Number 385481-00. The substitute part will be sent to me to replace the original part which has been discontinued. Rather than order the specific hose clamp which is #47 Part Number 140123-00, I am just going to buy a regular hose clamp. This hopefully will solve my problem.
I've had this little compressor for years. My only complaint is that it has always rear about 2 lbs. low. My other complaint is there in no owner's manual available for download.

an excellent home compressor except for the difficulty in finding the AIR HOSE END replacement part which is considered obsolete and is, of course, UNAVAILABLE. However, the Dewalt part no. 5140043-67 appears to work just as well.

This product is OK except for the air hose end it is a cheap piece of junk. It is made from inferior materials, very low in quality. It needs to be replaced with much better made part.

Where do I find this Dewalt part no. 514004367?
Black & Decker should have all parts for what they sell whenever
it was made.

Extremely useful. DeWalt refers to B&D diagram. Shipping costs more than the part, but I need it.
