I checked with the manufacture. They don't offer a owners manual for this model. Routine maintenance would include checking the brushes, making sure the power cord is in good condition. The bearings and gears are mostly sealed and do not require lubrication. Blow out the tool with air on a regular basis and you should be able to use your sander for a long time.
where do you get your parts to repair a no. 7451 type 3?
all the parts on page A have been discontinued. I've had this
old girl a long time an Black and Decker still hasn't made one as good.
