This is an awesome tool! Its is tough and reliable. The best drill I have ever used. Finally suffered an open cord wire which happened after I was a little too tough on it. Have had it since about 1984. Hope I always have it!
Loved this hammer drill, bought it about 1986 and it served me well. Made in the USA and it was not imported use-it-once-throwaway junk, when B&D was a real tool company. Used it for general automotive work including honing cylinder blocks and general home from cabinet hinges to 3/4" masonry holes through my foundation for sprinkler pipes. It drilled all the plumbing and wiring stud holes on at least 2 new homes.
The switch finally went out and the brushes are worn. Maybe I can find a substituite.....
