    Exactly what I needed; quickly
I ordered parts to repair my Metabo angle grinder. The gear set was different from my oem parts in that the smaller gear was straight instead of twisted, this made no affect on the functionality or repair in any way though. Parts arrived in about 3 days allowing me to put it back to work very quickly, and saved me ~ $350- on a new one. I'd recommend everyone try to repair their stuff instead of throw it away. It's better for the world and your wallet. And with only this experience so far I can recommend ereplacementparts.com for your parts. I will be back and if that changes I'll say so then.

    Pinon Gear teeth wore down

My Metabo started making noise and eventually quit working. I took it apart and found out that the pinon gear was wore out. A quick google search and I found ereplacement parts. I found this straight cut ring and pinon. While my unit had the newer helical gears, I figured I could try and fix it with these parts and would again have a functioning grinder for way less than the price of a new one ($200).

I assembled the grinder back together and initially had tightened the screws setting the ring gear depth to much. After disassembling and torquing it again, I got it to work.
