Had an oiling problem. Replaced this piece even though the old one looked fine and there isn't much to it that could go bad. Used a small screw threaded into the top to remove the old one. Easy repair and I have lots of oiling now!

Once I found a parts blow up on line it wasn't difficult to repair . The oiler is threaded on the end so I found a screw that fit and used that to pull it out . Then I made sure the groove on the side was lined up and pushed it in . That was it !

    Removed chain/bar cover.aka sprocket guard
    Removed bar and chain
    Bought clutch removal tool
Removed engine cover and remove spark plug and place rope in spark plug hole to stop piston from moving while removing clutch
Removed clutch and other parts in clutch housing refer to page E of ereplacement parts website
    Remove oil grommet
I tried to tap the oiler to remove it but that didn't work. Drilled it out with a drill press. Be very careful not to damage the plastic case while drilling.. There are probably other ways to do this but it's the only way I could figure out how to do it. A long 10-24 screw served as an installation tool once I got the oiler out.
Installed the worm gear and reassembled clutch assy.
Put the oil grommet back in and attached the hose from the oil tank.
Put the bar and chain back on the
Take the rope out of the cylinder and reinstall the spark plug and attach the engine case.
Reattach the bar and chain. Replace the sprocket guard.
