Product Description ?

This is an original part from Husqvarna, Poulan, and Weedeater for use with Trimmers, Leaf Blowers, and Hedge Trimmers. The connecting rod connects the piston to the crankshaft in the engine. This part is made of metal and is used to transfer power from the piston to the crankshaft. This item is sold individually.
The tools that you will need to replace the connecting rod are a wrench and a screwdriver. Let the engine cool and disconnect the spark plug wire before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

1. Removed spark plug
2. Checked compression
3. Cracked the case.
4. Ordered parts waited.
5. Parts arrived, disaster. The cylinder kit has holes but no threads to mount carb adapter and muffler. Website says Poulans problem they didn't tap the holes. Poulan says Websites problem they sold you the part. Website says after spending $100.00 parts and shipping for a 40 year old blower that otherwise never gave me a problem, I should take it to a machine shop and pay them to tap the holes.
I rounded up.the taps and did it myself. After years of buying parts from the website.
I won't be buying anymore. The blower runs like new!
