This was a modification of a Weber 18 in Kettle, adding the ash catcher assembly

I wanted an 18 in Weber Kettle with the ash catcher rather than the open ash pan. Weber did, but no longer, sells them with the catcher and they would not sell the catcher to me. You were a source for this. I bought the 18 inch kettle locally. To attach the ash catcher I merely turned the kettle upside down, moved the supports for the open pan out of my way and snapped the ash catcher into place. Total time was very few minutes. I'm happy with you and my new kettle but unhappy with Weber.

Notched the new ash catcher so it would snap into my old grill. Used hose clamps for an extra secure fit.

Clipped the Ash Pan Ring into place under the kettle. Then clipped pan onto ring. This was less of a repair and more of buying an accessory and installing it.
