Product Description ?

This is an authentic OEM component from Dyson. The yoke service assembly is designed for use with several upright vacuum models. The metal, wiring and plastic assembly is secured to the vacuum lower duct assembly, holding components of the motor assembly. The yoke service assembly is sold individually. For the repair, you will need a screwdriver and needle nose pliers.

    Cracked plastic yoke

    Screwdriver, Torx bit driver

    Remove filter.
    Remove torx and phillips screws necessary to remove yoke assembly.
    Transfer original bearing from old yoke to new yoke.
    Install new yoke.
    Replace filter.

    Be cautious not to crack the new yoke by over-flexing the plastic or over-tightening the screws. Be patient.

    1. Removed the floor attachment assembly.
    2. Removed wheel and filter.
    3. Removed filter bracket.
    4. Removed broken yoke.
    5. Aligned yoke teeth and installed new yoke.
    6. Reassembled all parts.

    The plastic frame of the vaccum was broke and needed replaced

    As always start with you tube to trouble shoot and evaluate for level of difficulty
    order part that is broke off this site
    wait for it in the mail
    once received go back to number one and finish replacing the piece
