mmmmmmmm9

auto line feed doesn't work. how do i fix?
WJA
Hello 1262834,

The part you would need to replace is the 50014130 Line Feeder Assy, for the Worx WG150 Electric Trimmer. Unfortunately the manufacture no longer supplies this part. You may be able to search online to ee if you can locate one.

Question: Worx Cutting Head Cover

iam4golf

I find these covers are not strong enough and break easy. Must replace often even when used carefully
is this part necessary for proper operation
WJA
Hello 1282131,

The Worx 50006531 Cutting Head Cover, is a necessary part of the trimmer. It keeps the spool intact inside the head and keeps it from falling out.

Question: Is There A Substitute?

1179387

I need a guard for my weed trimmer. But my models guard is discontinued. Is there a substitute?
WJA
Hello 1179387,

When the manufacture stopped supplying the 50006536 guard. They did not come out with a substitute. There were a lot of these trimmers sold. So you can keep searching on line for one. Hopefully one of the service centers or someone else may still have some in stock.

Good luck,
-WJA
Part #50006536 has been replaced by part #50023375.

Question: How Do You Remove The Cutting He...

The cutting head spins freely both clockwise and counter-clockwise and does not loosen at all no matter how long you spin it. Can someone please clarify how the old cutting head is removed so I can replace it with the new one?

Hello ronniesmom,

Looking at the parts diagram, once you remove the cutting head cover and the spool and line, there is a nut right below the line feeder assembly that needs to be removed. Then the cutting head will hopefully be easily removed.

Hope this helps,
-WJA

Yes, there is a nut, but how to hold motor shaft while unscrewing cutting head? dismantle motor housing, several screws, to get to motor. At the motor end opposite the cutting head the motor shaft is flatted so one can grip the motor shaft with a pliers while unscrewing the cutting head.
