This is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement belt specially designed for use with walk-behind lawn mowers. This is the the main belt that drives the blades. Over time rubber belts tend to stretch out or break eventually requiring replacement. When replacing this belt, make sure to clean off the drive pulleys to prolong the life of the new belt. This part is made out of durable rubber and it is sold individually.
You will need a set of wrenches to replace this drive belt.
• Remove the belt cover
• Move the belt guard
• Remove the old drive belt
• Install the new drive belt
• Reassemble and test the new belt

V-belt replacement was more involved.
1. Removed plastic cover over front of belt on deck
2. Removed old belt
3. Fed new belt under engine onto pulleys and routed through guides.
4. Lifted front drive pulley and fed belt into slots. Tested tension. Started mower to check for correct operation prior to replacing plastic cover

feed new v-belt around blade & belt pully & then out to pully on transmission.
Had to take screws out of plate on top to get the v-belt behind the guide.
Replace lower cover & turn mower over up right .
Start mower & check to see if front pull was going to work which it did.
Shut mower off & install top belt cover.
no tread left on the drive wheels.

2 Remove bracket around the belt under the motor which keeps it from coming off
3 Remove bracket near the front wheel which holds the belt in place
4 Place belt on around the blade and in the groove on the pulley under the engine
5 Put the bracket back on that holds belt in place under the engine
6 Place belt around the pulley near the front wheel
7 Put the bracket on which holds the belt in place around the front wheel
8 Put cover back on the top of the mower
