Tiller V Belt Replacement Craftsman

Disconnected Spark Plug from Craftsman front tine tiller. Removed Belt Guard and Original Belt by depressing tiller tine engage Handel. Replaced V belt on pulley flanges and Belt clutch engage. Disengage Tiller Tine Engage Handel ,Reinstall Belt guard and spark plug wire. Started Unit and checked Preformance of Belt. Perfect fit no issues. * FYI before reinstall of Belt guard check that v belt is firmly on the tiller pulleys as I found it nesscessary it engage tine Handel and pulley clutch by attaching a rag to hold down tine Handel engage to ensure v belt did not slip off pulleys. Found this step easy after trying to install Belt guard. Remove rag from tiller engage Handel before starting Tiller. James

Remove guard. Replace belt, replace guard, adj. Tension. Remove gas tank, remove valve, replace valve, adj. Position valve to lineup with hose, replace tank and reconnect gas line.

Removed the old belt, the clutch cable and replaced with the new. Adjusted the clutch cable, then replaced the cover. Very easy repair took about 30 minutes.
