This manufacturer-approved part is specially designed for use with Toro and Lawn Boy lawn mowers. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a damaged component that was installed on a new unit. The purpose of this tube-lower is to provide support for controlling the unit. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct application. One durable metal tube is included. Note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately. A screwdriver and a wrench set might be needed to perform this repair.

Lower handle broke on lawnmower

Parts Used
Remove the nuts from the lower handle mount on the broken lower tube, that hold the upper handle. Then remove the cable guide. Remove the nuts from the carriage bolts holding the bottom of the lower handle to the mower base, and remove the the broken handle. Install the new handle by threading the nuts to the carriage bolts in the mower base. Attach the cable guide to the new handle and attach the lower handle mount to the top of the lower handle.
