Replaced old throttle cable with new one and also replaced the switch. Used the old wires for the switch as they were still good and already in place. Throttle replacement, at the throttle is easy. However, the carb end is a "pain in the butt". As opposed to the usual hook up, it uses a spring and pin attached with the carb end of the cable. I had to "rig it" to work correctly and not sure how long the system will hold up. Works great for the present but we will see what the future brings. Shindaiwa should have made the carb end with a lever (like most other machines) and not design it with this "Rube Goldberg" setup! Parts, however, were perfect and delivery time (considering the holidays) was not bad!!
