    Right part number, wrong length
    This is a very similar part for what I was looking for, the exact same part number but the length of this thermal couple is not as long as the original with the same part number and would not work therefore, I had to send it back but the return process seem to be friendly enough. I would work on Adding the length of the thermal couple or notification that there are two different lengths available.

    Propane heater did not stay on

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Power Drill, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, Adjustable Wrench, None

    Removed old parts and replaced with new thermocouple and new limit switch. Fired up and heater stayed running and runs like new, which is great when I need to rescue a frozen vehicle here in Fairbanks, Alaska.

    Thermocouple burnt out.

    Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Nutdriver

    Removed rear protection cage from rear of heater, remove thermocouple from gas control valve then removed thermocouple from burner cover back plate and reverse the removal posses to install new thermocouple in heater, connect propane tank and turn on tank, take a spray bottle with a soap and water mix and spray the thermocouple fitting at control valve with valve button pushed in to check for leakage, then ignite unit if no leakage found.

    Burnt tip on thermocouple

    Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, None

    1. Removed three screws on rear of torpedo housing that holds fan (Nut Driver)
    2. Removed fan assembly
    3. Loosened thermocouple nut under heater base. (Open end wrench)
    4. Removed two spade terminals from thermocouple.(Pliers)
    5. Loosened nut and removed thermocouple tip from inside of burn chamber (Socket)
    6. Removed thermocouple assembly.
    7. Held new assembly next to original and bent new assembly to match original configuration.
    8. Reinstalled in reverse order
