Screwdriver, Pliers, Soldering iron

1. Took saw casing apart by removing screws
2. Removed switch,one wire with slide connector,the other soldered, just cut it
3. Installed new switch, slid connector to one lug, soldered a small wire to replace the cut one
4. Tested to make sure all worked, which did!
5 Carefully lined up everything[,take your time here] as there are a few things that need to
lineup just right.When lined up the covers will mesh together.Insert and tighten the screws.
6 Squeeze the trigger, after inserting the battery, and Viola!!, you"re good to go!!

Screwdriver, Solder and soldering iron

Disassembled the jigsaw, unsoldered the old switch and soldered the new switch into place. Just keep track of the small parts and where they go. Afterwards, my Makita was cutting wood again! Thank you for having the parts available!
