Product Description ?

Genuine Metabo replacement part, this is sold individually.
The Switch Slide, which is near the front of the Metabo Grinders shown below.
Attaches to the Switch Rod,the Switch Rod then attaches to the Switch.
The Switch Slide is pressed forward which pulls the Switch Rod forward and activates the Switch.
After the Grinder is in operation, you can press down on the Slide Switch to lock the Grinder in the on position.
To unlock the Switch Slide, simply press on it and it will stop the Grinder.

    Screwdriver, Torx Screwdriver T25

    Remove 3 torx screws with T25. Remove the cover and you can see how the switch slide (button) snaps into the switch rod. Just remove the old one and snap the new one in. Just make sure the switch rod is in the correct position when you put the cover back on.

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, replace switch

    Remove handle, note how switch slide and switch rod are placed in the grinder. Replace slide and rod. Very simple. I also replaced the flange nut and clamping flange.
