Product Description ?

Genuine replacement part used on Makita grinders and plate jointers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. A switch plays an important role by handling the on/off function of a tool. It also has a role in electric breaking. A switch can momentarily reverse electrical polarity. Because switches use mechanical internals, they will degrade and wear out over time, eventually requiring replacement. Includes a plastic switch with a metal terminal, one metal and one plastic collar/locking nuts that are used to secure the switch. PLEASE NOTE: The screws are sold separately. Order 4 qty 652021-4

My grinder has a sliding on/off switch. Will it replace it or will it still be a sliding switch? This is one the things I like about my grinder.

We had to replace the power cord. Got parts and got that done. In putting the unit back together the switch broke into pieces. So ordered a new switch. guess what. This switch broke into pieces again. Operator error. Taking it to a repair center. I must add the correct part arrived quickly so that was good.
