This genuine OEM approved switch is specially made for use with string trimmers/edgers. This is the main switch that allows user to engage cutter head. Because switches have moving internal components over time they might begin to fail requiring switch replacement. Please note trigger and spring are both sold separately.
Replacing this switch is a simple task that would only require torx screwdriver.
• First make sure equipment is unplugged.
• Remove housing/handle screws
• Separate housing halves
• Disconnect trigger from the switch (be careful with the spring)
• Remove old switch and secure the new one
• Reassemble in reverse order and test your tool
