Questions & Answers for Srv Switch Circuit Board

How do you replace part # SB08086266 I have the hood apart , but the wires to the switch seem to be attached. I cannot turn the left light off but the right one wont come on.
Bobby for model number 61000 or 637004 asked on 2023-02-19
Hello Bobby, Thank you for your inquiry. Once you have turned off the power supply and removed the grease filter, used a Philips head screw driver to unthread the screws to release the terminal block cover. Cut the zip ties securing the wiring harness if you haven't already done so. Unthread the mounting screws securing the switch to the front panel and pull it away. Note the orientation of the selector switch assembly wires attached to the terminal blocks (you may want to take a picture) and use a flat head screwdriver to loosen the screws to release the wires. Insert the wires into the appropriate terminals on the terminal blocks for the new switch and tighten the screws to secure. Reposition the selector switch in the front panel and reattach the mounting screws. Use new zip ties to secure the wire harness and reposition the terminal blocks in the housing, then align the cover and thread the screws back in. Put the grease filter back in by aligning the left side tabs with the slots in the hood and pull the lever to align the right side. You should now be able to turn the power back on and test the switch. Good luck with your repair.
