Parts Used
With a small standard screwdriver, slowly and carefully work the screwdriver head between the side of the existing switch. Gently try and pry the switch out of the deep fryer. You may need to pry one side and then the other to make it release as it's a press in fit with plastic tabs on both sides that keeps the switch in place. There are two electrical wires attached to the back of the switch with a typical male/female tabbed electrical connection. Use the needle nose pliers to grab and hold onto the female tabbed electrical connection/wire and gently pull the switch from the electrical connection. Do this for both wires. You're now ready to replace the switch. Again grab the female electrical wire connection with the needle nose pliers and push the female connection onto the male connection at the back of the new switch. Do the same for the second wire. Gently push the wires back into the fryer followed by the switch. Push the switch in place and the tabs will click and lock it in place. Plug in and turn the fryer on and enjoy!
