Product Description ?

This replacement switch assembly is used with Oster Pro clippers. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. Switch plays a key role in the tool because it handles on/off operations. Because switches have internal mechanical part, over time they will wear out, eventually requiring replacement. It has a plastic body and it is sold individually.

To replace this switch you would need a screwdriver.

• Remove screws used to hold two pieces of housing together
• Disconnect wires from the old switch and remove it from the housing
• Place the new switch in the housing and connect wires to it
• Reassemble and test the clippers

  • Easy inexpensive fix.
Fixed very good older dog clippers for a small price. These clippers are 20 years old and built really well. This small switch saved them and should be good for 20 years more.

    Difficulty

    Easy

    Tools Used

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Needle nose pliers.

Removed cover. Removed wires from connection points and removed old switch. Installed replacement switch. Attached wires to connections points. Put cover back on.

Someone with large fingers may have a problem putting wires back on since the screws are small and there isn't a lot of room. Suggest using needle nose pliers.
