Roller bar on hand held vacuum would stop when pressure applied.
Removed a few screws.
Removed old belt
Place the new belt on the motor shaft and on the brush head
Reattached screws. Easy fix.

Needed a new belt.
It looked so small hubby thought it wouldn't work. Finally found a shop about 20 miles away when we went there they explained how to do it. First try really screeched but second try got it working. Thank Heavens as we are in the motor home and that was all I had till Sept or Oct when we get home.
Parts had to be removed and the belt had to be twisted between the roller brush and the gear. Did not know by looking. Glad he had that 'tool' which looked like a screw driver which he had turned the end to make a u-turn. That worked. Hands would never have done it.

The belt was broke on my little royal handheld vacuum.
Used a Philips screwdriver and replaced the belt.I ordered extra belts so if it did break again it have them on hand.Thank you guys I'm glad I found you on the web.

Just Removed Two screws On The Plate Covering Roller. Then Removed Roller For Belt.
Then I Scratched The New Belt Then Installed It Over Roller. Then Reinstalled The Roller And Plate Covering Roller . Works Like New.

Tiny fan belt broke on small vacuum cleaner.
Put new belt on shaft and replaced bottom cover. I am an 82 year-old small female but am acquainted with tools as I became an electrician's helper when I was 70. My BOSS was 86 at that time and worked till he was 94!
