Needed a new belt.
It looked so small hubby thought it wouldn't work. Finally found a shop about 20 miles away when we went there they explained how to do it. First try really screeched but second try got it working. Thank Heavens as we are in the motor home and that was all I had till Sept or Oct when we get home.
Parts had to be removed and the belt had to be twisted between the roller brush and the gear. Did not know by looking. Glad he had that 'tool' which looked like a screw driver which he had turned the end to make a u-turn. That worked. Hands would never have done it.

The belt had stretched out and wouldn't power the vacuum
Had to remove the housing which was a snap.
Getting the belt installed on the roller and the shaft was not an easy feat. But when I did it differently than directed it worked much easier and I completed the installation of the belt.
Replaced the housing and viola--done. It works perfectly. Thank you for the prompt service.
