Broken sprocket, one of two
I had to remove both sprockets and put both back on at the same time in order to get the chain back on. The manual did not tell me that. It said take it to a dealer. After I figured it out, it was a simple repair. If the manual had stated how to replace the broken sprocket, I could have done the entire repair in 15 minutes.

Happy Customer
I have an old 13 inch craftsman planer and with the help of a wonderful sales person I was able to find dewalt parts that fit my machine. Both the sprocket and feed roller bearings were an exact match. We looked at dimensions and scale photos to see if there was a dewalt part that was similar. When the parts arrived I discovered that no modification was necessary. Perfect. Thank You. The craftsman parts are no longer available by the way.
