Replace broken spiral gear

Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Nutdriver, Adjustable Wrench, Vise

Vise was the major tool along with deep sockets and heavy mallets. Spiral gear was pressed on to the shaft which was very difficult to remove. Finding the right sockets and where to place the shaft on the vise and then with hitting the front and back of the vise with the mallets I could see the old spiral gear move out of the shaft position. Replacing the wasn't as hard, just had to remember exactly where to stop as where the the old one was at. Replacement: Vise and a deep socket that slides easily over the shaft and hit downwards until it lines where the old spiral used to be. Before any removal the the old gear, take some measurements so when replacing it with the new one you'll know where to stop before you go too far.
