Toro mower was hard starting. After finally starting with sarter fliud, engine soon dies out.

2. Remove air filter cover and cartridge.
3. Drained fuel then removed old fuel line.
4. Used carburetor cleaner to clean carburetor, spraying fuel inlet and choke.
5. Installed new fuel line with filter. (old fuel line did not have a filter)
6. Installed new air filter with cover.
7. Remove and installed new spark plug gapped it at 0.030.
8. Replaced top cover.
9. Fill fresh, non-ethanol fuel.
10. Crank till start.

Removed old, dirty air filter, airbox assy. and gummed-up carburetor from engine. Dis-assembled airbox and carb completely - cleaning all the parts thoroughly with carb cleaner spray.
Re-assembled freshly cleaned carb with new carb overhaul kit from e-replacementparts.com.
Re-installed overhauled carb and airbox assy. back onto engine. Re-installed new air filter purchased from e-replacementparts.com and adjusted carb to specs.
Lawnmower engine now starts easily and has plenty of power!
