This spark plug is an authentic OEM supplied replacement part. It is specially designed for use with Homelite and Ryobi digital inverter generators. The purpose of the spark plug is to deliver electric current from an ignition system to the combustion chamber. Over time spark plugs will get fouled or damaged eventually requiring replacement. Please note, one item is included per order. You will need a spark plug wrench or a socket wrench to complete the repair.

2. Block the fuel tank off if there is gas in the tank.
3. Drain the the carb
4. Remove air cleaner and fuel pump and all hoses incorporated
5. Remove the carb.
6. Swap all the parts that are attached to the old carb to the new one. be careful not to damage the screws hold this plastic assembly to the carb, and be careful with the tiny governor spring underneath the throttle shaft.
7. I replaced the spark pug with new, reinstall the carb and attached all hoses, checked or replace the fuel filter, open the fuel line.
8. Carefully start it up before reinstalling the covers...took me about and hour working carefully.
