Hello Sam, Thank you for your question. There is the Fuel Grommet (A) 6685308. It's purpose is to secure the fuel shut off valve. There is also a Return Grommet 6697846. Its purpose is to create a seal and prevent fuel leaks. We sell both. We hope this helps.

The primer bulb line has come out of the gas tank. I think it's broke off cause I can't put it back in.

After looking closer at the problem while getting ready to install the new parts, all that was needed was the Fuel Line which was cracked.
It was a bit difficult to get the grommets out because they were a bit greasy. It was necessary to remove the gas tank which was not possible because on screw would not come out.
When trying to thread the fuel line back through the grommet a bit of "3-in-one oil" made it easier.
The Fuel Pipe had to be 'fished' out of the gas tank opening because of the filter on the end.
Also it was a struggle trying to get the grommets snapped back in the holes.
It was a bit difficult to get the grommets out because they were a bit greasy. It was necessary to remove the gas tank which was not possible because on screw would not come out.

Removed carburetor to get at three fuel lines. All were split and brittle from Ethanol. Replaced two but third broke off at grommet in the process because it was brittle. Suggest you replace all fuel lines at the same time needed or not. Suggest switch to nonEthanol fuel or use additive to combat Ethanol which drys out rubber lines and gaskets. Most major gasoline retailers now offer nonEthanol fuel. It's more expensive but worth in the end.

I removed the fuel tank, and the remnants of the old fuel line and fuel pipe. Then I used a pair of long needle-nosed pliers to reach into the fuel tank and removed the fuel line with filter attached. I then routed the new fuel line from the carb through the grommet into the tank, once again reaching in with the pliers to pull the end of the fuel like from the tank. I installed the fuel filter on the new line and secured with the spring clamp, then reinserted it into the fuel tank. Afterward, I routed the new fuel pipe into its respective grommet in the fuel tank and attached the other end to the primer body. I reattached the fuel tank to the trimmer, then primed and started the string trimmer. After adjusting the idle, the trimmer performed flawlessly.

There are a ton of youtube videos on how to replace the fuel lines so I won't go into that. There are two types of fuel lines, hard clear plastic, and black. The plastic is for priming the carb. The black one is for supplying the fuel. Usually, it's the plastic one that gives everyone trouble. I also bought parts to do a tune-up. A few tips, make sure the black fuel line is put back into the tank correctly I didn't so the blower would start but run out of gas leading me to think I had a more complicated problem. Also, check your date of purchase I didn't mine was still under the 5 yr warranty. Lastly, take pictures as you take it apart some pieces pop out of place and it could be a bit confusing on how to reassemble everything.

2. Installed new fuel line and grommets onto new tank.
3. Placed new tank in position and reconnected new fuel lines to the carb.
4. Installed 3 screws to secure the tank in place.

1. Opened the housing using a flathead.
2. Removed the filter
3. Unscrewed two screws holding the carburetor block
4. Getting access to the fuel lines, I unhooked the pink/see-through line that was damaged.
5. Replaced with new part.
6. Replaced the priming bulb and reattached the fuel line and fuel pipe to it.
7. Hooked everything back up.
8. Primed 3 times, cranked twice and she started purring.

Gas was dripping out of gas tank and primer bulb

Removed the air cleaner cover. Fished the fuel pickup out of the fuel tank. Cut the fuel line to free the fuel pickup to be removed from tank. Removed remainder of fuel line from tank. Removed fuel line grommet from tank. Removed primer grommet from tank. Threaded primer line (fuel pipe) thru new grommet and inserted into fuel tank. Connected other end of fuel pipe to primer bulb. Threaded fuel line thru grommet. Inserted fuel line into tank. Attached fuel pickup to fuel line and inserted into fuel tank thru tank cap opening. Installed grommet into fuel tank and attached end of fuel line to primer bulb. Installed air filter. Reattached air filter cover. Primed and started motor, checked for leaks. Found no leaks, job complete
