This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement sear plate. This part is secured over burners on Napoleon gas grills to direct grease and drippings away from the tubes. This helps to cut down on flare ups providing for a better and safer cooking experience. Another benefit of a sear plate is that the drippings, marinades and juices from the food would fall down onto the hot surface of the plate, adding that smokey BBQ flavor. Bars tend to rust much faster if they are not cleaned after each use. Please note, this steel sear plate is sold individually.

wrong parts sent I supplied the correct info however was sent the incorrectn parts and have been waiting over a week for the pre paid return slipmand the return instruction that i was info were coming
wrong part they sent parts for a 450 and I informed and ask for parts for a 405 series very frustrating. this will probably fall on deaf ears about all this extra work when I feel I supplied all of the correct information.

All you need to do is remove the cooking grill, then lift out the burnt sear plates, then install the new sear plates.
