This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Senco staplers. This o-ring provides an air-tight seal for valve assembly. Over time this o-ring will shrink, become brittle and crack allowing for air leaks. At that time it should be replaced. It is made out of rubber and it is sold individually.
Replacing this item you would need hex key/allen wrench and pliers to replace this item.

Just to be sure.... I called their support service and talked with a rep who confirmed the part that I should order. I also purchased an spare and an o ring that may need to be replaced in the future. They mailed the parts to me... about a week. I did a through cleaning of all parts as I reassembled to be sure of no small broken fragments that may affect my repair. Slid the seal back onto the retainer... no need to remove any other parts.
Everything went well and I now am back in business.
It was nice to have the support number to call to confirm parts!
