Sheared off the old bolt.

Grind the old bold down flush with the engine block. Drill and tap the new hole. Then just install the bolts with a socket set.

Bolt for the muffler broke off

1. Removed muffler (ordered a new one of these, too)
2. Removed engine shroud (bolts and screws all over the place!)
3. A little WD-40 to get the broken stud out
4. A week to assemble all the new parts
5. 10 minutes to put it all back together again
6. No snow in the interim and no real opportunity to run the machine since then, but I anticipate much better operation with good back pressure on the engine. I need to overhaul it next summer and will come here for my parts.

Just what I needed when I needed it.
