Trigger Safety Pad was worn damaging (Denting) items being nailed (brad nailer).

No tools needed for this repair. The urethane (I'm assuming that's what it is made of) safety pad just locks into place by stretching over the flat triggering post it mounts to.

Just grab the back open side of the pad and pull it forward and downward at the same time. The pad will come right off. Cleanup any debris on the triggering post and install the new pad by aligning the pointed post with the front groove (just in front of the opening for the brad to go through) in the new pad. Press the pad on while pulling the open back side of the pad to the side slightly to help it lock on to the ears on the triggering post.

I bought 4 extra of these pads to keep as spares in my brad nailer case.
