Product Description ?

This is a complete roller set for a jig saw. It includes the wheel, pin, two washers, two c-clips, and a bearing (seven parts total). If the wheel of your jig saw is worn or malfunctioning, this OEM roller set is what you will need. For this simple repair, pry off the old c-clips, and then remove the old pin, wheel, and washers. Place the new bearings on either side of the wheel, install the new wheel onto the new pin, and replace the c-clips.

    2. Punch out old pin
    3. Push in new bearing
    4. Install new wheel on new pin replace new c-clips

    The bearing froze and blade was cutting into guide wheel.

    Remove c-clips on both sides of the shaft of blade guide wheel. Tap the pin out from the middle of wheel. Remove wheel and washers. Insert new bearing into new wheel and center it in the middle of wheel. Put new washers on both sides of new wheel. Reinstall wheel on saw and insert new pin. Tap pin through and center it. install new c-clips.

    Pin holding roller broke

    1. Removed the base Plate and angle guide
    2. Punched pin out holding assembly to the saw
    3. Attached Roller bracket assembly by driving the pin in
    4. Attached the angle guide to base plate

    The roller wheel wore out

    1. Removed the roller wheel assembly which required a steel punch.
    2. Installed the new assembly improvising using a stainless steel cotter pin in place of the steel pin of the original.

    Bent base plate

    Remove blade, assemble base plate and metal work board with 4 countersunk screws. Remove old base plate with allen wrench, install new base plate, drive out set pin on roller set bracket and remove, install new roller set bracket, reinstall blade.

    Remove the e-rings from the shaft
    Remove all of the old parts
    Place the bearing inside of the roller
    Line up roller and washers in the bracket
    Push the pin through
    Install the e-ring on each side of the pin
