Repair was straight forward.
Loosen the nut until the linkage is free.
Hook the new linkage in the throttle block mounted on the fuel tank bracket.
Started the throttle adjusting nut and turned it clockwise until about 3/8" of the rod was extending past the nut.
Hooked my multimeter to the generator outlet and set to hertz. Started motor and adjusted speed of engine until the meter read 60 hertz. Done
The surprising thing about the whole repair was that eReplacement had the part in stock. No one else I checked with had it. Thanks Guys for making life easy.
