Brush roller would not spin. Pump belt broken. End caps broken. Just a mess!
Removed all broken or missing parts above and used instructions that came with belts. Easy to follow, no problem. Relined and locked side end caps with side brushes and put together with locking screw. no problem. you guys did not have the front nozzle for the 8920 so I got some automotive glue and screw clamps to hold till glue set up over night. Reinstalled all of the above. all is well. Cost me $33.00 for parts from e-replacement and five dollars for the glue. Only took 3 days from the time of ordering till finish. thanks guys, Neely

I broke the front nozzle off my Bissell carpet shampooer
I just removed the broken part with a phillips screwdriver & replaced it with the new one. I was unable to get my replacement parts from Bissell. They were unavailable for a shampooer I had only had 2 years. If not for eReplacement Parts, I would have been very unhappy.

Bissell heated carpet cleaner was dropped down a flight of stairs
Replace side covers
Replace front suction assembly
Replace belts (they were 6 years old and well used)
Replace detent lever (the most time consuming)
I'm old school...take it apart and remember the order and where you took it off of. lower end was easy, 5 screws only and only one way to reinstall.
Detent lever required disassembly of upper half of handle followed by disassembly of the lower half. after that it was easy, just two screws. then reverse the order you got there and its done...
